ENGLISH FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES

Bournemouth City College offers a number of English for Special Purposes courses for academic and professional students, and others who wish to study intensively for a particular reason.
These are:-

General and Business English (Tourism/Medical/Engineering etc)
Our teachers guide you through this course which includes 3 hours of General English in the morning plus 1.5 hours of Business English in the afternoon. The afternoon lessons concentrate on the vocabulary and skills needed for report and contract reading and writing, role play for business meetings and interviews and conducting presentations and business assignments. We can also adjust this course to suit groups of students wishing to concentrate on a specific are of Business for example: Tourism, Medicine, Engineering etc. Course dates will depend on the college being able to enrol a minimum class size of 8 students.

This course includes 3 hours of General English in the morning plus 1.5 hours of Academic English vocabulary in the afternoon. Course dates will depend on the college being able to enrol a minimum class size of 8 students.

This course includes 3 hours of General English in the morning plus 1.5 hours of vocabulary and communication skills required for academic purposes in the afternoon. Course dates will depend on the college being able to enrol a minimum class size of 8 students.
