Bournemouth City College offers three English Plus courses for business and professional students, and others who wish to study intensively for a particular reason.
These are:-

General and Business English
Our teachers guide you through this course which includes 3 hours of General English in the morning plus 3 hours of Business English in the afternoon. The afternoon lessons concentrate on the vocabulary and skills needed for report and contract reading and writing, role play for business meetings and interviews and conducting presentations and business assignments. Course dates will depend on the college being able to enrol a minimum class size of 8 students.

General English and Professional Terminology
This course includes 3 hours of General English in the morning plus 3 hours of Professional English vocabulary in the afternoon. Students can choose from Sales and Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering or Medicine. Course dates will depend on the college being able to enrol a minimum class size of 8 students.

General English and British Cultural Studies
This course includes 3 hours of General English in the morning plus 2 hours of British Cultural studies in the afternoon. The afternoon class will include elements of history, general culture and current affairs and will be supported by special trips to places of cultural interest and appropriate social activities. Morning classes will be delivered by our own teachers and afternoon classes will be taken by qualified external tutors with proven expertise in their subject matter.
